What to check before you choose

Does a travel system make the car seat a sleep space?

No. A stroller connection helps with transport, but it does not turn a car seat into a crib or bassinet. Health Canada advises moving a sleeping baby to an appropriate sleep space once you reach your destination.

When should my baby move to another seat?

Follow the infant seat's own height, weight and fit limits, including its specified head-clearance requirements. There is no single clearance rule for every model. Before changing seats, confirm that the next seat fits your child and can be installed according to both manuals.
