The story began in 1907, when carpenter Abel Rossignol crafted wooden skis in his workshop in Voiron, Isère, France. In 1956, Laurent Boix-Vives acquired the company and helped expand its international reach. By 1970, Rossignol had become the world's leading ski manufacturer, establishing a lasting place in winter sports.
