Frequently Asked Questions
Can PIPA urbn be installed with a vehicle seat belt?
Yes. The Canadian manual includes approved baseless vehicle-belt installation as well as pipaFIX™ rigid-connector installation. Follow the instructions for the selected method and the vehicle seating position; never combine methods unless the manual permits it.
Can it become part of a Nuna travel system?
Yes. It works with Nuna strollers, and it connects directly to the TAVO™ series and TRVL™ without adapters. Check the stroller instructions for any model-specific connection steps.
How should the soft goods be cleaned?
The seat fabrics and inserts are machine washable. Follow the care labels on each soft-good component and make sure every part is fully dry and correctly reinstalled before use.
Is a separate base needed?
No. PIPA urbn has integrated connectors and does not use a separate infant-car-seat base.
When is PIPA urbn outgrown?
Use it rear-facing only for a child who meets all of its limits: 4–22 lb and 15–29 in. Check every fit requirement in the Canadian manual, and stop use when a limit is reached.
Care & Use
Follow the care labels on the soft goods for washing and drying. Clean the shell, handle and harness straps with mild detergent, water and a soft cloth, then air-dry.
Rinse the buckle with warm water only. Do not use soap, solvents or lubricants on the buckle. Allow it to air-dry. Do not remove the energy-absorbing foam beneath the seat pad.
