Can the Nuna PIPA Lite be used on an aircraft?
Yes, with its base. The Canadian PIPA Lite is certified for aircraft use when installed with the base; the carrier alone cannot be installed on an aircraft seat. Confirm the airline’s child-restraint policy before travel.
When should the Nuna PIPA Lite be replaced?
Replace it after any crash, even a minor one with no visible damage. It must also be retired no later than seven years after purchase with proof of purchase, or seven years after manufacture otherwise; check the underside label for the expiration date.
How should the Nuna PIPA Lite be cleaned?
Follow the care label for the soft goods. Clean the shell, handle and harness straps with mild detergent, water and a soft cloth, then air dry; rinse the buckle with warm water only and do not use soap, solvents or lubricants.
