Choose the Nuna MIXX Next + PIPA bundle when a reversible stroller seat, a dedicated bassinet option, and broader everyday configuration matter more than the extra published stroller weight. Both bundles use the Canadian Nuna PIPA, so the decision is mainly about the stroller you will live with after the infant-seat stage.
Separate the shared car seat from the stroller decision
The current Canadian bundles pair each stroller with the PIPA infant car seat. Its current Canadian manual specifies rear-facing use from 4 to 35 lb, height less than 81 cm (32 inches), and at least 25 mm (1 inch) between the top of the child's head and the top of the carrier. It means TAVO asks fewer configuration questions and MIXX keeps more branches open.
If parent-facing stroller-seat use is a hard requirement after the infant carrier, MIXX Next is the practical shortlist. If the household expects to move directly from PIPA use to a forward-facing stroller routine and values fewer connection parts, TAVO Next may be the cleaner fit.

TAVO Next's published stroller weight is 5.1 lb below MIXX Next's, though the listed exclusions differ. That can be decisive for repeated loading. Minimal-parts household
Start with TAVO Next + PIPA. The PIPA attaches directly and the stroller architecture is simpler. Reconsider if buying a simpler bundle now would create a second purchase later because parent-facing use or a bassinet is actually required.
Newborn pram and later reversible seat
Start with MIXX Next + PIPA. MIXX Next has the explicitly supported MIXX series bassinet path and a reversible stroller seat. Include the separately sold bassinet and its storage in the ownership plan rather than treating compatibility as included equipment.
Do not let the bundle name answer the sleep question
Both strollers are listed by Nuna Canada from birth to 50 lb, and both have flat or true-flat recline language. Those stroller features do not turn a stroller seat or infant car seat into a routine sleep space. Health Canada advises moving a baby who falls asleep in a stroller or car seat to a crib, cradle, or bassinet at the destination.
The MIXX series bassinet is a separate exact-model product that Nuna Canada identifies for overnight sleep, with its own limits and stop rules. Keep that bassinet claim confined to that bassinet. Run one final no-carrier rehearsal. Fold, store, push, recline, and load the stroller exactly as it will be used after the infant-seat stage. A connection advantage that matters for several early months should be weighed against the stroller routine that follows.
