Compare two current cup layouts

Make spill control visible

A no-spill promise usually depends on resistance somewhere: a slit, valve, seal, or closing cover. That can reduce casual drips while adding a part that must open during drinking and close afterward. Test the assembled cup with water over a sink. Turn it, set it on its side briefly, and inspect the seal. Then disassemble it and locate where liquid remained.

Audit the lid after a real day

A kitchen test catches obvious leaks, but a day of use reveals where moisture and residue actually remain.
