The seam-sealed DRYVENT™ Mono construction provides waterproof protection. The non-PFC DWR finish adds surface water repellency; it is separate from the waterproof membrane.
Is this an insulated winter jacket?
This is a lined protective shell. For colder weather, add a suitable insulating layer; warmth depends on what you wear underneath and the conditions.
Can I zip another jacket inside?
The North Face presents this Mountain Jacket with compatible Nuptse and Denali layers for added warmth. Check the exact layer’s zip-in compatibility and size before pairing; a separate insulating jacket is not included.
How does the relaxed fit work?
The relaxed cut leaves room for movement and layering. Use the body-measurement chart and consider the layers you plan to wear. The listed 24-inch centre-back length is a garment measurement, not a body measurement.
What can I adjust?
The hood drawcord, hook-and-loop cuff tabs and internal hem drawcord let you adjust the coverage. The two-way front zipper gives you another way to adjust the opening.
