The Reef 2 First Bed bassinet creates a calm newborn sleep space with refined fabrics, thoughtful airflow and a flat-folding base. It moves from stroller to compatible stand with an easy-release handle and is approved for overnight sleeping on or off the chassis.

Suitable from birth to approx. 6 months, the bassinet is crafted with a naturally breathable, temperature-regulating bamboo lining and mattress, celebrated for hypoallergenic and antibacterial qualities, to create a safe, calm and comfortable sleep space for your newborn. Finished with mesh ventilation and anti-crease jersey fabrics.

The bassinet folds completely flat into its hard-shell base for space-conscious storage and easier transport.

Ventilation built into the sleep space

Mesh panels add airflow around the bassinet while preserving its sheltered shape.

Easy-release carry handle

The easy-release handle allows for a smooth transition between the chassis and compatible bassinet stand, complete with tonal detailing and gloss finish.

The first bed folding bassinet is bamboo-lined with a hard-shell base and is approved for overnight sleeping - perfect for cocooning your newborn in comfort. Alternatively, the stroller can be used in lie-flat, parent-facing position from day one too.

What are Reef 2 fabrics made from?

The luxury jersey fabrics are crafted for style on every stroll using recycled plastic bottles. For every Silver Cross Reef 2, 68 plastic bottles are saved from landfill and go into making our beautifully woven sustainable fabrics.
