Frequently Asked Questions
Does RAVA include a booster mode?
No. RAVA is designed for rear-facing and forward-facing use with its five-point harness. A separate belt-positioning booster is needed after the child outgrows the forward-facing limits.
Can the fabric be washed?
Yes. The breathable knit fabric is washable; follow the Canadian user manual for removal, washing, drying, and correct reassembly.
When can RAVA be used forward-facing?
The Canadian forward-facing requirements are at least 2 years old, 25–65 lb and no more than 49 in tall. Rear-facing use is 5–40 lb and no more than 49 in; follow all fit and installation instructions.
Are infant inserts included?
Yes. Removable head and body inserts are included. Use and remove them according to the Canadian manual, rather than adding aftermarket padding.
Will RAVA fit three across in my vehicle?
Fit depends on the vehicle seating positions and the other restraints. Check the 19 in width against your vehicle and arrange a fit check; width alone does not establish a correct installation.
Care & Use
Machine-wash the seat cover and harness pads in cold water with mild detergent on a delicate cycle; air-dry. Machine-wash the infant insert with mild soap and cold water, but spot-clean its support wedge only.
The harness system and buckle cannot be removed. Clean the harness with a sponge and warm soapy water, then air-dry. Wipe the shell and buckle with a damp cloth. Do not use bleach, harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners.
