PAAL shifts between a removable bassinet and a roomy playard, giving your baby a familiar, well-ventilated space at home or away. Its compact fold, included travel bag and one-button folding design make quick transitions easier.
The Caviar design pairs mesh side panels and padded edges with a breathable mattress, a zip-open crawl door and an included insect net. A GOTS certified organic cotton sheet adds a soft, secure fitted layer.

When should I stop using the bassinet?
Stop bassinet use when your child can roll over, can push up on hands and knees, or reaches 15 lb (6.8 kg)—whichever comes first. Nuna estimates this stage at about 3–5 months.
What are the playard limits?
Use the playard from birth up to 30 lb (13.6 kg) or 35.4 in (90 cm). Discontinue use as soon as your child can climb out.
Can PAAL fold with the bassinet attached?
Yes. Its single-button fold works with the bassinet attached, and the folded unit wraps with the mattress before going into the travel bag.
Are the sheet and insect net included?
Yes. The Canadian PAAL package includes a fitted GOTS certified organic cotton sheet and an insect net, along with the mattress and travel bag.
How does the side door work?
For supervised free-play mode, release the zipper buckle and open the mesh panel. Zip the panel fully closed and secure the buckle whenever PAAL is used in bassinet or playard mode.
Can the mattress be washed?
Yes. Remove the internal board, fasten the mattress zipper and follow the attached care label for washing and drying. Never use the mattress without the board installed.
Can I add another mattress or soft bedding?
No. Do not add pillows, comforters or an extra mattress or floor pad. If you use a sheet, use the Nuna sheet provided or one designed to fit this mattress securely.
Care & Use
Spot-clean the playard and bassinet with a sponge and mild soapy water. Do not remove or soak the covering, and do not use abrasives or bleach. Dry thoroughly before use or storage and avoid prolonged heat and sunlight.
Before washing the mattress, remove its board and fasten the zipper. Follow the attached fabric care label, reinstall the board before use and never use the mattress without it.
