Does this fit every Ergobaby carrier?

No. The Easy Snug Infant Insert is for compatible legacy Original and All Positions 360 carriers that require an insert for newborn use. Check the instructions for your exact carrier version. Omni and Embrace carriers do not need this insert.

How do I know whether my baby still needs the full insert?

The insert is intended for newborns around 7–12 lb (3.2–5.5 kg), up to approximately 4 months. Babies over 12 lb (5.5 kg) may still need it if they are younger than 4 months or do not yet have strong, consistent head and neck control. Follow the instructions for your carrier and your baby’s development.

When can I use the pillow without the insert shell?

The removable bottom pillow may be used on its own for a baby over 12 lb (5.5 kg) and older than 4 months who has strong, consistent head and neck control, but needs to sit higher or needs more clearance to bend the knees comfortably. Follow your carrier’s instructions for correct positioning.

Is a baby carrier included?

No. This is an infant insert accessory. The carrier shown in the lifestyle photo is sold separately.

Care & Use

Keep your baby’s face and head uncovered and close enough to kiss. Leave at least one finger’s space between the chin and chest to help keep the airway clear. Secure the insert to the carrier and check that the thighs are supported. Use only the setup described in the instructions for your exact insert and carrier; follow the sewn-in care label for cleaning.
