Frequently Asked Questions
Can I carry my newborn in this buggy?
The stroller seat is for children from 6 months. For a younger baby, use only an infant car seat and adapters approved for the exact Orfeo configuration. The infant car seat is sold separately.
Can I use this buggy as a travel system?
Yes. Use an approved compatible infant car seat and the appropriate Orfeo adapters. Compatibility is model-specific: confirm the exact infant-seat and adapter combination before purchase rather than assuming that every seat from a brand will fit.
How can ORFEO be carried when it is folded?
Orfeo's integrated carry strap makes it easy to carry the ultra-compact buggy comfortably when folded. With the unfolding of the Orfeo, the carry strap is automatically disappearing under the seat.
What is a one-pull harness?
This is a feature for a variety of CYBEX strollers. Rather than tightening the harness straps individually, the one-pull harness can be tightened simply by pulling a strap at the base of the seat with one hand. this makes getting your child onboard quick and easy, and helps you find the perfect form-hugging fit for your child´s comfort and safety.
Can ORFEO be taken on board of a plane?
The Orfeo has a compact fold, approximately 6.1 × 20.5 × 20.7 inches (length × width × height). Airline cabin-baggage and overhead-bin rules differ, and acceptance is not guaranteed. Check your airline’s current allowance before travelling.
How easy is it to fold and carry the Orfeo stroller for travel?
The Orfeo uses a one-hand folding mechanism and has an integrated carry strap for carrying the folded stroller. The one-pull feature refers to the harness adjustment, not the fold.
How can I best maintain the stroller’s fabrics and mechanisms?
Follow the care label and the instructions for the specific component. CYBEX lists washing fabrics separately with a gentle warm-water wash; do not bleach, tumble dry, iron or dry clean. Consult the instruction manual for chassis and wheel maintenance.
