Frequently Asked Questions
How do I open the vacuum-sealed lid?
Pull the valve up to release the vacuum, then lift the lid from a corner or short side. Take care if the box contains liquids.
How do I seal it for transport?
Make sure the rim and seal are clean and dry. Press the lid down on all sides, push the valve down and secure the silicone strap. Allow hot food to cool first; transporting hot food may cause leaks.
Can I heat food in it?
Do not use this box in a microwave. The steel base is oven-safe, but the lid is not. Oven use may discolour the base.
Does the 600 mL box have a divider?
No. A divider is included with the 1 L box, not the 600 mL version.
Which parts can go in the dishwasher?
The base and fork and divider are dishwasher-safe. Hand wash the lid and silicone strap.
Care & Use
Allow hot food to cool before transport. Ensure the base rim and silicone seal are clean and dry, press the lid down firmly on all sides, press the valve down and secure the strap. Release the valve before opening and lift from a corner or short side; take care with liquids. Do not microwave. Only the base is oven-safe; oven use may discolour it. Do not overfill liquids for freezing. The base, fork and divider are dishwasher-safe; hand wash the lid and strap. Do not use bleach, chlorine cleaners, abrasive cleaners or scrubbers.
